Alfalah Steel

Alfalah Steel is located at Plot No. 34 on Topsia Road (South). We’ve been operating out of this specific yard for quite a few years now. Most days around here start pretty early with the sounds of the gate being pulled open and the first trucks idling out on the road. It’s a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up or when we are moving the heavier steel beams around the lot. We don’t really have a fancy office or anything like that; usually, we just stand out by the stacks of metal to talk about what needs to be done for the day. The traffic on Topsia Road can be a real headache sometimes, with all the honking and the slow-moving cars, but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time just cutting pieces to size and loading them up for whoever needs them. The work is heavy and it definitely keeps us tired by the time evening rolls around. There is always a bit of scrap metal lying in the corners and the smell of iron is everywhere. We have a small area where we sit and have some tea when there’s a break in the work. It is a very basic setup, but it’s how we have always done things. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners around here. It’s just a normal, hardworking steel yard that doesn't try to be something it isn't.
