Akat Overseas Llp

Akat Overseas Llp is located at 34 Vivekananda Road. It is an old part of Kolkata, and the building has been there for a long time. We are right in the thick of things. The street outside is always noisy with buses and yellow taxis honking. Our office is just a regular space where we handle overseas business matters. We have a few old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on international calls, which means sometimes we are in the office at odd hours because of the time differences. It’s not a glamorous life. We drink a lot of chai from the stall at the corner. The walls are painted a simple cream color, and we have maps pinned up everywhere. We started this because we had some connections abroad and figured we could make a go of it. Most of our day is spent checking shipping dates and confirming orders. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media team. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just seeing the sign on the door. It’s a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we keep the fans going to stay cool. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors know us well. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. The building has these high ceilings that make it feel bigger than it actually is. We have a small radio that plays the news in the background while we work. It helps pass the time when we are waiting for a callback from a different time zone.
