Adhunik Metaliks Ltd. is based out of Lansdowne Towers on Sarat Bose Road. Being at 2/1A means we are right in the middle of everything. The office is usually humming with the sound of computers and people talking. It’s a bit different from the actual sites where the metal is processed, but this is where the planning happens. Sarat Bose Road is always packed with cars, so getting to work can be a bit of a headache some mornings. We have been in this building for a long time. The elevators are sometimes slow, but you get used to it. We deal with a lot of big numbers and heavy industrial metal projects. It’s not just about the numbers though, it’s about making sure the logistics actually work out. We have some people who have worked here since the beginning and they know every corner of this office. We don't really do the whole corporate jargon thing. We just focus on the tasks for the day. Lunch is usually someone bringing in food or grabbing something quick from the vendors nearby. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the street below. It’s a practical place to work. We keep the files organized, talk to the suppliers, and make sure everything is moving along as it should. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening every day.
