Our office is over at Plot No-2966 in Kharija Baniyadaha, near Nandina. People around here in Dinhata know us as the Abutara Progressive Farmers Producer Company Limited. We’ve been operating in the Koch Bihar area for some time now. It’s a pretty rural place, which is exactly where we need to be to work with the farmers properly. We aren't interested in making things look fancy; we just want to get the work done. A lot of our time is spent talking to the growers about their harvests and how we can group things together to make life simpler. It's a lot of back and forth, and sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we manage to get through it. The soil in this part of West Bengal is good, but the markets can be tough to navigate alone. That's why we started this whole thing. We're just regular people from the neighborhood who decided to work together. You'll often find us sitting together outside the building, discussing the next season's plans or just catching up on how the families are doing. It's a practical way of living, and we don't try to be anything we're not. We just hope that by staying organized here in Nandina, we can all have a bit more stability in our farming lives. It takes a lot of effort, but we're used to the long days and the hard work.
