I work out of B 1 in Manik Chambers, which is right in the Rajarampuri area of Kolhapur. Most people know the building because it’s near the Saikas Extension. It’s a good location for me because I’ve always liked this part of town. The office isn’t anything special to look at, just a practical space with my desk and some chairs for visitors. I’ve been here for many years and have seen the neighborhood grow and change. Rajarampuri has its own energy, and you can feel it from the street noise that comes through the window. I usually start my day quite early before the traffic really gets going. There is always a lot of paperwork to sort through, and my filing cabinets are pretty much full. I don't really bother with expensive furniture or modern decorations. I prefer the old wooden desk I've used since the beginning. It’s mostly just me here, though sometimes a helper comes in to deal with the mail. People from around the extension often stop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with their documents. I try to keep things simple and direct. Parking around Manik Chambers can be tricky in the evenings, so I usually suggest people come by in the morning. It’s a quiet life, focused on getting the daily tasks done without making a big fuss about it. All my folders are labeled by hand and I keep everything in its place.
