New Era Engineering Co.

New Era Engineering Co. operates out of W-25 in the M.I.D.C. area of Gokul Shiragaon. Being in an M.I.D.C. zone means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks nearby. Our unit is a practical space where we do a lot of the heavy lifting. We have a small office section tucked into the corner of the building where we handle the orders and the payroll. The rest of the space is for the actual engineering work. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so there’s a lot of shorthand in how we communicate. We don't bother with fancy reports or corporate jargon. If a machine needs fixing or a part needs to be made, we just get to it. The floor is usually a bit greasy and there are tools everywhere, but that’s how an engineering shop should look. We just focus on getting the job done right without any extra fluff. Gokul Shiragaon is a hardworking area and we fit right in. We usually start our day early before the sun gets too high and we stay until the quota is met.
