Sujay Article is located at Plot No.297 inside the Jayprakash Housing Society. We are quite close to the Kolhapur Bypass Road, which helps a lot with the transport. Being in a housing society area makes it a bit quieter than being right on the main road. We have a decent amount of space for our materials. The work here is pretty straightforward. We spend the mornings sorting through things and getting the yard ready. The sun hits the plot directly in the afternoon, so it gets very hot. We have a small shed where we take breaks. My cousin helps me with the heavy stuff. We’ve had this plot for a few years and have seen the bypass get busier and busier. It’s mostly just us doing the daily chores. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they live nearby in the society. Sometimes the gate to the society gets stuck and we have to help the driver get through. It’s just one of those little things you deal with. We keep an old ledger for all our notes and tallies. It’s a bit messy but we know where everything is. We just focus on getting the work done and heading home before it gets dark. It is not a complicated life but it keeps us busy enough throughout the whole year.
