We set up our workspace at Plot No. 27 inside the Jayprakash Housing Society along Dharangutti Road. It feels more like a house than a typical office because of the neighborhood. We have several computers running all day long. Some days the internet works perfectly and other times it slows down, but we just keep going. Most of our time is spent writing code and looking for bugs in the systems. We do not have a big reception desk or anything fancy like that. There are just some sturdy desks and chairs where we sit for quite a few hours at a time. It is quiet around here, which is good when you need to focus on a monitor. We usually head out for tea near the main road when we need a stretch. The people living in the society know us as the guys who work on computers. We picked this spot because it was easy to get to and close to home. The rooms get a lot of natural light in the morning. We have a few plants on the windowsills, though we forget to water them sometimes. It is just a small group of us working on different software tasks together. We do not do many formal meetings, we just talk across the desks. It is a very practical way to work and we like the simple setup we have here.
