Our place is at 1337 A Ward in Chandreshwar Galli, which is right in the Shivaji Peth area of Kolhapur. Shivprasad P. Sarnaik is usually around here making sure things are moving along. It is a typical busy street in Kolhapur where everyone is doing their own thing. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of stuff piled up, but we know where everything is. We deal with a lot of different people every day who stop by for business. It’s a local operation, so we don't have any formal dress codes or complicated systems. We just write things down and make sure the orders are handled properly. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by delivery trucks, so we have to go out and help move things. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We’ve been in Shivaji Peth for a long time and the neighbors are all like family. If someone needs a hand, we step out and help. It’s not a polished business with a big marketing budget, just a straightforward shop where we work hard and try to stay organized. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in through the door. It is honest work and we enjoy being part of this neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do the daily tasks required.
