If you find yourself in Kagal, look for C Ward. That’s where we are, at number 875. This is Amarjit Shripad Kulkarni’s place, and we’ve set up our software work right here in the neighborhood. It’s a bit different from the big IT parks you see in Pune or Bangalore. Kagal is a smaller town, and things move a bit slower here, which we actually like. We spend our days in front of screens, writing code and trying to solve bugs that pop up. Since we’re in a residential ward, it’s mostly quiet, except for the occasional scooter passing by or neighbors talking in the street. We don't have a cafeteria or a gym in the building. Usually, we just take turns bringing snacks or go out to a local place for a quick bite. The office is really just a room with some good internet and enough power outlets for everyone. We’ve known each other for a long time, so there isn't much formality. If someone has an idea, they just shout it out across the room. We don't do big meetings with PowerPoint slides. We just sit down and figure things out as we go. Working from a place like this keeps us grounded. We don't feel the pressure to be something we’re not. We just want to build things that work and keep our heads down so we can finish the project on time. It’s a simple setup but it works for us.
