Our office for Coconut Software Pvt Ltd is located over at Plot No.255 in Ruikar Colony. If you know Kolhapur at all, you probably know the S.M. Ghatghe Hero Honda showroom; we are right near there. It’s a good landmark to use because the colony streets can sometimes look the same. We picked this spot because it’s easy for people to find once they get to the main road. The office isn't anything too crazy. We have our computers and some chairs, and that’s about it. We spend most of our time staring at screens and writing code. Ruikar Colony is a decent neighborhood. It has a bit of a buzz during the day but stays quiet enough for us to focus on our work. We aren't one of those big tech companies with a cafeteria or a gym. We just have a kettle for tea and some snacks in the drawer. It’s a small team of us here. We grew up around here or moved to Kolhapur for work, and we like the pace of the city. Being near the showroom means there is always some activity nearby, which is nice. We don't do much marketing. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have heard about what we do at Plot 255. It’s a practical way to run a software business. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. It is simple and we enjoy the local environment here.
