Sayali Academy

We are located in the basement of the Vaishnavi Complex, right on 8th Lane in Rajarampuri. It’s pretty close to Lucky Bazar, so it’s easy for people to find us once they get to the main road. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler during the summer, which is nice. We also serve the Kolhapur area, so we get people coming in from there too. Sayali Academy is basically just a few rooms we’ve set up for teaching. It’s not fancy. The stairs coming down can be a bit narrow, and we’ve had to put up a few extra lights because it gets dark in the corners. We spend our days here mostly looking at textbooks and answering questions. It’s a bit of a tight space when all the students arrive at the same time, but we make it work. You’ll find a lot of old notebooks piled up and some spare chairs in the back. We don’t have a receptionist or anyone like that. Usually, one of us just stops what we’re doing to talk to visitors. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't use any big words or promises to get people in. They see the sign, they know someone who came here before, and they just walk in. It’s a steady routine of opening up, teaching, and tidying up before we lock the gate at night. That's just how we operate here in the basement day in and day out.
