Indumati Vidhya Sankul

We’re over at Krishna Heights in Rajarampuri. It’s on the 4th Lane, the west side. If you know where the Natural Ice Cream Parlour is in Kolhapur, we are very close to that. Indumati Vidhya Sankul is our small contribution to the local community. We’ve been in this spot for a bit. It’s a decent building, easy to find. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. Our rooms are filled with desks and books, and that’s about it. We think it’s better that way so there aren't many distractions. Kolhapur is a great place to live and work. We see students coming in every day, mostly from the nearby streets. Some of them have been with us for a long time. We don't have a fancy website or a big social media presence. We just do our work and hope it helps. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the ice cream place next door is busy, but it adds to the atmosphere. We focus on whatever the students are struggling with that week. It’s very day-to-day. We don't follow a rigid script. If someone needs extra time on a topic, we give it to them. It’s just how things work here. No big promises, just a quiet place to study and someone to help when you get stuck. We have a small shelf where we keep some old magazines and newspapers for the students to read during their breaks. It’s a simple touch. The lighting inside is okay, though we had to add a few extra bulbs last month. We do most of the maintenance ourselves. If a bulb goes out or a chair breaks, we fix it. It’s a very hands-on way to run a place.
