Rajtara Foods

Rajtara Foods is based out of Kurukali village in the Karveer Taluka of Kolhapur district. Being in a rural area like this means life moves at a different pace than the big cities. We are right in the heart of the village area. Our daily work involves a lot of handling food products, and we get started before the sun is even fully up. The air in Kurukali is usually fresh, though it gets dusty when the tractors go by. We have a simple setup here, nothing like a big factory. It is more of a local operation where everyone knows each other. We spend a lot of time checking our stock and making sure everything is packaged right. People from around the Karveer area know where to find us. We don't have any big signs or flashing lights. It is just a plain building where we do our work. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or find another way to get things done. That is just part of living in the Kolhapur district. We’re just glad to be a local business that serves the people around here. It is hard work and our boots usually have a bit of mud on them by the end of the day. But we like the routine and the people we see every day. It's a quiet, steady kind of life here at Rajtara Foods and that's fine.
