Hinglaj Catering Services

We have been operating Hinglaj Catering Services from our spot in the E Vaibhav Building for a good while now. Being in Lane No 5 of Shahupuri means we are right in the middle of things here in Kolhapur. Most people know us because we are so close to Bagal Chowk. It gets pretty crowded around here during the festival season, which keeps us on our toes. We are just a group of people who enjoy cooking and setting up for local functions. It started out small, mostly helping neighbors with their family meals, and then it grew into what it is today. You can usually find someone at the office during the day, though we are often out at venues making sure the heaters are working or the tables are set right. The kitchen stays busy with the smell of spices drifting out into the hallway. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It is just a practical operation where we focus on getting the food to the tables on time. Sometimes the traffic near the building makes deliveries a bit of a headache, but we’ve learned the shortcuts around Shahupuri by now. We like being part of the community and seeing the same faces at different events over the years. It is hard work, standing on your feet all day, but it feels good when a party goes off without any major issues. We just keep things simple and do our job.
