Padmavati Marble

Our place is located right on the Pune Bangalore Highway at 11/B, opposite the Kolhapur Steel Factory in the Shiroli MIDC area. Since we are right by the highway, we see a lot of people passing through every single day. We’ve got a good-sized yard where we keep all our marble slabs and blocks for everyone to see. Because it's a busy industrial zone, there’s always a lot of noise from the neighboring factories and the trucks passing by. Most of our days are spent out in the yard, moving stone around with the loaders and checking the inventory. No one will find a polished office here, just a small space to sit down and talk about stone sizes and prices. Even though it gets pretty hot out on the pavement during the day, we’ve gotten used to the sun by now. Customers from all over the area come by because we’re easy to find right off the main highway road. Large amounts of stock are kept on hand because you never know what someone might be looking for on a given day for their project. Dealing with stone and helping people get what they need for their building work is a straightforward way to make a living. Big claims aren't our thing; we just stay open and keep the yard organized as best as we can. It’s just us doing our thing on the side of the highway.
