The road in MIDC Gokul Sirgaon can get quite muddy when it rains, so watch your step if you come by Flat No. B-19. We’ve been working with marble and tiles here for quite a while now. It's not a fancy showroom like you see in the city center. We keep the slabs stacked up in the back and on the sides. Usually, it's just a couple of us moving stone around and cutting it to size for customers. The machines can be loud, but that’s just how it is in this area. People come from all over the district to see what we have in stock because we try to keep a bit of everything. Sometimes the marble has natural cracks or odd colors, but that's just the way stone comes out of the ground. We don't try to hide it. My cousin handles the phone while I’m out back with the guys. It’s hard work on your back, but we’re used to it. If you need something for a kitchen or a floor, we probably have a slab that fits. We don't do much advertising, just word of mouth from people who’ve bought from us before. The address is easy to find once you’re in the industrial zone. Just look for the big piles of stone near the gate. We stay open until the sun goes down most days and usually work through the weekends if there is a big order to finish.
