Krashna Marble

We set up Krashna Marble at Plot No 98 on Sangli Road in Shiroli. We are quite close to the Jain Mandir, which is how most people find us. The road gets a lot of trucks passing through, so it stays pretty busy all day long. We’ve been at this plot for a while now. We deal with marble slabs and basic stone work. It’s a straightforward operation. We have a small crew that helps with the loading and cutting. Most days are spent moving heavy pieces of stone from one side of the yard to the other using the crane. It’s not a glamorous job, but we take it seriously. We see a lot of local contractors who are working on building projects nearby. They know where we are and what we usually have in stock. We don’t do much advertising at all. Usually, someone sees our sign on the road and pulls in. The Jain Mandir is a good landmark because everyone in Shiroli knows it. We try to keep the yard tidy, though it’s hard with all the stone scraps and dust. We deal with all kinds of customers. Some know exactly what they want, and others need to look at every single slab before they finally decide. We just let them take their time and wander around. It’s a local business, nothing more, nothing less. We’re just here on Sangli Road doing our thing and we keep the gates open till late.
