Oswal Marble Centre

We’ve been here in Halondi for quite some time now, just down the road from the Essar Petrol Pump in Shiroli. It’s a busy spot but we like it. Most days you’ll find us out in the yard moving slabs around or talking to folks who stop by to look at marble. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a lot of stone and some heavy lifting. People come from all over the area because they know where we are. It gets pretty dusty when the trucks come in to unload, but that is part of the job. We keep a variety of pieces here, some big and some small. Sometimes it is hard to find exactly what someone wants right away, so we spend time looking through the stacks together. We have seen a lot of houses get built around here over the years using the stuff from our yard. It makes us feel like we are part of the neighborhood. Usually, we are open until late afternoon unless there is a lot of work to finish up. The weather affects how much we get done outside, especially when it rains. But mostly, we just keep at it. If you pass by the petrol pump, you can’t really miss us. We are just simple people doing our work day in and day out without much fuss.
