Maheshwari Marble & Granite

We have our shop, Maheshwari Marble & Granite, at number 4211 on the Kolhapur Sangli Road. It is right in the Shiroli Midc area, quite close to the Jain Mandir. If you are driving around there, you can't really miss us. We have been here for a good while now, just working with stone every day. It is not a fancy setup with glass windows or anything like that. It is more of a practical yard where we keep the slabs and blocks. Some days it is very hot out there, and the stone gets warm to the touch. We spend a lot of time moving things around with the crane or just by hand when we have to. My brother and I run the place. We usually start early before the sun gets too high. We get all kinds of people coming in. Some are contractors who know exactly what they want, and others are just families looking for a nice piece of granite for their new kitchen. We try to talk to everyone and show them what we have in stock at the moment. The inventory changes depending on what we can get from the quarries. It is dusty work and our clothes are always covered in stone powder. That is just part of the job. We like being in Shiroli because the community is good. We know the other shop owners nearby. We just keep doing our thing and helping people get the stone they need for their floors and counters.
