A. R. Foods

Our facility is located in Village Sandgewadi. We are quite close to the M.I.D.C. Industrial Area in the Taluk of Palus. It’s a bit of a mix here between the quiet village life and the noise of the industrial zone. At A. R. Foods, we focus on food processing. The building is a basic structure that we’ve made work for our needs over the years. We have some local workers who walk over from Sandgewadi every morning. It’s a small operation, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don’t have a big corporate structure or managers in suits. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes getting our hands dirty. The roads around Palus can be a bit rough, especially after the monsoon, but the trucks still manage to get through eventually. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure the floors are dry. It is a lot of physical labor. We don’t spend much on advertising because word of mouth in the village is usually enough to keep us going. Sometimes we sit outside during our lunch break and watch the tractors go by on the road. It is a slow pace of life in some ways, but the work itself is constant. We just keep our heads down and try to produce good food items. There isn't much more to it than that.
