Dhiraj Engineering Works

We are located over at Plot No. 77 in G.I.D.C., Kalol. It is in the Gandhinagar area. Our workshop has been here for a while. We do engineering tasks, mostly stuff involving metal and machining. The shop is a bit cramped because we have quite a few machines squeezed into the space, but we know where everything is kept. We do not have a fancy website or a sales team. Usually, it is just the owner or one of the senior guys talking to customers. We take on jobs from other local businesses and sometimes bigger contracts if we have the capacity. The floors are concrete and usually have some scrap metal lying around. It is an honest place. We do not try to act like we are a massive firm. We are just a group of people who know how to work with metal. The weather gets pretty hot in the summer, and the shop can be like an oven, but we keep the fans going and get on with it. We have seen Kalol change quite a bit over the years, but the industrial estate stays pretty much the same—busy, loud, and full of people trying to make a living. We are just glad to be part of the mix and keep the doors open every day. It is a noisy job, but someone has to do it.
