K R Engineering Works

Out here in Chhatral at Plot No. 1610, Gidc is where K R Engineering Works is based. We are in the Kalol Taluka within the Gandhi Nagar district. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city areas but we like it here. The industrial atmosphere of Chhatral is very specific. You have all these engineering works lined up one after another. Our plot is a busy place where we handle various mechanical tasks. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. People just come to the main door and find whoever is available. The work at K R Engineering Works involves a lot of hands-on effort. We have old tools that still work perfectly and some newer ones too. The weather can get quite warm in this part of Gandhi Nagar so we keep the fans going all day. Sometimes the power goes out in Gidc but we just wait it out and get back to work when it returns. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a while. We know the local tea stall owner nearby and that is where we get our breaks. Plot No. 1610 is a solid workplace for us. We don't make a big deal out of what we do, we just provide the engineering services needed in this area. It's just simple, daily work for everyone here.
