Akshar Eng. Works

Akshar Eng. Works is over at Plot No. 2401/2 in the Gidc Estate. It is a simple engineering shop. We have our lathe machines and other tools set up in this plot. The Gidc Estate is a big place, but we have our own little corner here. We do a lot of metal work and repairs. It is the kind of place where your hands get dirty within five minutes. We do not mind that. We have been doing engineering tasks for a long time. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil. We keep the machines running most of the day. It is not a place for a suit and tie. We just wear our work clothes and get on with it. Sometimes the neighbors in the estate are loud, but we are used to the noise of an industrial area. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just know we are at Plot 2401/2. We try to be helpful when someone comes in with a broken part. It is just basic engineering and fabrication work. The sun can get really hot on the metal roof, but we have some fans going. We just do our best with the tools we have in this shop. It feels good to fix something that was broken. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and welding until the job is done. That is how we operate here in the Gidc area of the city. We keep to ourselves and focus on the metal.
