Being located in Adarsh Industrial Park means we are right in the middle of everything. We are at Shed No. 20, which is pretty close to that big 66 Kva sub station. You can’t miss it because of the hum from the wires. Over here at Krishna Engineer, we spend most of our time dealing with parts and mechanical stuff. It’s the kind of work that leaves you with grease under your fingernails at the end of every day. We don’t have fancy desks or air conditioning in the workshop. Instead, we have workbenches that have seen a lot of use over the years. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains, but that’s just how an engineering shop should look. We get a lot of people coming by from the GIDC area just asking for small repairs or specific pieces they can’t find elsewhere. We try to help out when we can. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take five minutes to talk about something other than metal and measurements. It’s a steady life. We don’t make big promises or use complicated words to describe what we do. We just take the drawings or the broken parts and see what we can do with them. Pansar Road is always loud, but once you’re inside the shed, you just focus on the task in front of you.
