Bhavani Engineering Works

Bhavani Engineering Works is sitting right at Plot No. 1903 in the Gidc, Phase-2 area. It is a gritty part of town, but it is where the work happens. Our shop is full of heavy machinery, lathes, and drills. There is usually a thin layer of oil on most surfaces, which is just how an engineering shop ends up looking after a few years of use. We spend our days turning metal into parts. Sometimes they are for big machines, other times they are just small components for something local. It is loud work. Between the grinding and the cutting, you cannot hear much else. We have been at this location for a good while. The neighbors are mostly other workshops, so nobody complains about the noise we make. We do not have a big office with air conditioning. There is just a small desk in the corner for the ledger and the phone. We prefer being out where the machines are anyway. If a tool breaks, we usually fix it ourselves because waiting for someone else takes too long. We are not trying to be the biggest shop in Phase-2. We just want to do honest work and make sure the parts we make are solid. Some days are long, especially when we have a deadline looming, but we get through it. We usually grab a tea from the guy who comes around on his cycle.
