Brady & Morris Engg. Co.Ltd.

Our place is on Sarsa Kanera Road, right opposite the government bore well. It’s Plot No.326/B in Kanera Village, which is part of the Matar taluka. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but we like the space. Brady & Morris Engg. Co.Ltd. has been part of this landscape for a while. The Sarsa Patia area is mostly fields and quiet roads, which makes for a different kind of workday than what you get in the city. We have our workshop and the office areas all on one site. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road, but that’s just the countryside for you. The workers here are mostly locals who have been doing this for years. We don't have a HR department with a lot of rules; we just talk to each other when something needs doing. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. If the rain is heavy, we wait it out. It is a very hands-on kind of environment. People around Kanera know us as the place across from the bore well. We do our engineering work without making a big scene about it. There’s no lobby with magazines or fancy chairs. Just some wooden benches and the sound of work. It’s a good, honest place to spend the day and we’re happy to be here. The local tea shop owner stops by sometimes with snacks, and we all take a break together in the yard. It is a slow pace but the work is solid.
