S. N. S. Cotton

S. N. S. Cotton is located at 9A/4 in Rama Krishnapuram. It’s a residential-style neighborhood that has some commercial spots mixed in. Our place is easy to spot once you get onto the right street. We deal with cotton, so there’s always a bit of lint floating around the air. It’s just how it is. We try to sweep up every evening, but it’s back again by noon the next day. The space isn't huge, but we have enough room for the bales and the desk. We’ve been here for several years. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise early in the morning. Rama Krishnapuram is a nice area, quite green compared to the city center. We get a good breeze through the front door when it’s open. Sometimes customers come by just to chat for a bit before they talk business. It’s a relaxed atmosphere here. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. Just regular clothes for a regular day of work. The phone rings a lot, and we spend time making sure the orders are lined up. We use an old ledger for some things because it’s just easier than the computer sometimes. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us handling everything from the stock to the shipping. We like it this way and don't feel the need to change.
