Golden Merchandising

We are located at No 9/156, Lrg Colony, right on Chinna Andan Koil Road. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the motorbikes zipping past all day. Our building is pretty easy to find once you get into the colony. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of samples lying around. We do merchandising, so we are always looking at different materials and trying to figure out if they’re any good. It’s not very organized, to be honest. There are swatches of fabric pinned to the walls and piles of folders on every flat surface. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or sending messages to vendors. Sometimes we have to go out and meet people, but mostly we’re right here at the desks. The fan runs all day long but it still gets sticky in the afternoon. We usually eat lunch together around two, just bringing whatever we have from home. It’s a small team, so we all know each other’s business and how everyone takes their coffee. We don’t have any big speeches or grand plans; we just want to get through the orders and make sure the shipments go out on the right day. It's practical work that keeps us busy from morning till the sun goes down. Some days are slower than others, but we always find something to do.
