We’re based at 47-A, Sengunthapura Main Road North, in Vivekanantha Nagar. It’s a very active part of town, and there’s always something happening outside our front door. We handle home fashions, so the building is packed with different textures and colors. It’s a bit of a mess most of the time, with samples draped over chairs and half-empty boxes in the hallway. We don't really have a cleaning crew, so we just tidy up ourselves when things get too out of hand. The office is usually humming with the sound of the air conditioner and someone typing away. We spend a lot of time arguing about which shades of blue look better, but it’s all in good fun. Most of us have been here for a long time, so we’ve seen the business change and the neighborhood grow around us. We don't use any big words or try to sound like a multinational company. We are just a local team doing our best with what we have. Sometimes the shipments are late and we have to scramble to keep things on track, but we usually figure it out. It’s about the daily effort and making sure we don't forget why we started doing this in the first place. When the shutters go down, we’re tired but satisfied with what we did.
