Real Textiles

Real Textiles is located at 65, Mahatma Gandhi Road. It’s a busy street, as anyone who lives around here can tell you. Being on MG Road means we’re right in the heart of things, which is great for business but a bit loud sometimes. We’ve been in the textile game for a while, and this office has seen a lot of seasons come and go. We deal with a lot of different fabrics, so the back rooms are usually piled high with samples and swatches. It’s not always the most organized-looking place, but we know exactly where everything is. The staff here is a mix of older folks who have been here forever and a couple of younger ones learning the ropes. We don't go in for big meetings or long presentations. We usually just talk across the desks when something needs to be decided. It’s a very practical way of doing things. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about the news or the cricket scores. We just try to be decent people and do our jobs well without making a big deal about it. The building itself is old, but it has character and it serves us well. We’re happy to be part of the community here and we don't plan on moving anytime soon. It’s just a normal workplace with good people.
