Asian Traders

You can find Asian Traders at No. 1-D on Pugalur Road. It’s a pretty standard trading setup we have here. The road outside can get quite dusty with all the vehicles passing by, but that’s just how it is in this part of Karur. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at the desk going through ledgers. The office isn't very large, so everything is within arm's reach. We keep a lot of samples around, and sometimes it feels like we are drowning in them. We’ve been at this address for several years now. Most of the people who deal with us know the spot well. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy out front. We just focus on the trade and making sure the goods move from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes there are delays at the port or issues with the transport, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. It’s a lot of coordination and checking things twice. We don’t really have a set routine because every day brings a different set of problems to solve. We drink a lot of coffee and just try to stay on top of the paperwork. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we do to keep the business going. We just take things one day at a time here. It is a lot of work but we have got the hang of it.
