Kay Yes Impex

Our spot is at 6, Karuppanna Nagar, in the Vanga Palayam area. It’s a small corner of the neighborhood, and we’ve been here at Kay Yes Impex for several years now. The building is just a plain concrete structure, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just open space for the goods we handle. We have a couple of ceiling fans that don’t do much against the afternoon heat, but we make do. There’s a lot of coming and going with the small tempos that bring us our materials. Vanga Palayam is a bit of a hub for this kind of work, so we have plenty of other businesses around us doing similar things. We aren't big on decorations; we just have some old calendars on the wall and a few plastic chairs for when visitors come by. The floors are concrete and get pretty scuffed up from moving the crates around. Most of our day is spent checking the manifests and making sure the counts are correct. It’s repetitive work, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and we have to move everything away from the door so it doesn't get wet. It’s just a regular day-to-day grind for us here in Karuppanna Nagar. We don't make a big fuss, we just get the work finished before the day ends.
