S S Rice Export

You can find us in the village and at the post of Chopri Taraori, which is situated right near the main road. Our place, S S Rice Export, is where we handle the sorting and packing of rice for various markets. Since Taraori is such a well-known area for rice production, we are right in the middle of everything. It is a busy, dusty place with trucks constantly coming and going from the main road. Our warehouse is where most of the work happens, as we have to make sure every bag is packed correctly and ready for transport. We aren't a big, polished corporation. We are just a local team of people who have spent most of our lives working with grain. The office is a tiny, functional space at the front of the warehouse. It usually has a couple of old chairs and a desk that is covered in shipping documents. We don't spend much time sitting in there anyway because there is always something to oversee on the warehouse floor. Being so close to the main road is very helpful for getting the trucks loaded and sent off without much delay. We don't do any fancy advertising or have a big sales team. Our name is just painted on the side of our building for people to see. We focus on the daily grind and making sure the orders are handled properly. It is a lot of hard work, but we take it one day at a time.
