Nava Chaitanya High School

Our school is at 252, M S Road, right in the Vadasery part of Nagercoil. It is a very busy street with a lot of shops and people moving around all day long. Being at this address means we are right in the thick of things. The school building itself is an older structure, but it’s sturdy and has plenty of room for the high school students. You can see the clock tower and the bus stand aren't too far away, so it is a convenient spot for everyone. Inside, the hallways are a bit narrow and you can always hear the sound of someone reciting a lesson or a teacher explaining something on the board. We don't have a lot of modern frills here. The desks are the old wooden kind that have seen a lot of use over the years. We focus on the basics like language, math, and science. The staff room is small and always smells like coffee. Sometimes the traffic on M S Road makes a lot of noise, especially in the evenings, but we are used to it by now. It is just part of being in Nagercoil. The kids here are mostly from the surrounding neighborhoods. They walk or bike to school every morning. We just try to provide a steady place for them to come and study. It is a simple setup and we like it that way because it works for us.
