Islamic Model Matriculation School has been part of this roadside landscape for quite some time now. Being on the Main Road means there is always traffic and noise outside, but we get used to it. Inside, we have our regular routine with the students. It’s a matriculation school, so we follow the usual curriculum and keep the kids busy with their books and activities. The local families in Kuzhithura know us well. Many of the staff members live nearby, so it feels like a close-knit group. We don't have a massive campus, but we make use of the space we have. Every morning, the gates open for the children, and things don't quiet down until late in the afternoon. We see the local buses pass by all day long. The building is functional and serves its purpose for the community here. There’s no big mystery to how we run things; we just show up, teach the classes, and handle the daily administrative tasks that come with running a school. Kanyakumari is a beautiful place to live, and being in Kuzhithura lets us stay connected to the local town life. It's just a regular school day, one after the other, making sure the kids are learning what they need to.
