John Bonal Matriculation School

John Bonal Matriculation School is situated on the Kanyakumari Pazhaya Uchakada Road in Kollangodu. The area code is 629160. It is a busy road, so there is always some traffic passing by the front of the school. Inside the gate, it is a bit more peaceful. We have various classrooms for the different grades. The students come from all over the local area of Kanyakumari. Some of them have quite a long journey to get here in the morning. Our building has been standing for a while and it shows some wear and tear, but it works for us. The staff room is usually a bit cluttered with papers and books. During the rainy season, we have to make sure the kids stay under the covered walkways so they don't get wet. Kanyakumari gets some heavy rain sometimes. We have the usual blackboards and desks in every room. The kids spend their time learning English, math, and other subjects. You can hear them reciting things or laughing during their lunch break. It is a very normal school life here. We don't have anything too fancy or modern, just the essentials. The teachers focus on getting through the syllabus before the term ends. It is just a place where learning happens every day without too much fuss or extra stuff. The school year moves along and we just keep up with the work until the holidays arrive.
