Sr Momo Fast Food

Our little place is at 117/n/76 in Kaka Deo, Kanpur. We are right near the CCD Lane, which is a busy area with lots of students and people walking by. It is usually pretty loud outside with all the traffic and the shops nearby. We started Sr Momo because we liked the idea of a quick spot where people could grab something to eat without waiting too long. The steamer is always going and you can usually see the steam coming off the momo trays from the street. It gets crowded in the evenings when the classes finish. We don't have a lot of space for sitting, so most people just stand around or take their food to go. Kanpur can get really hot in the summer but we stay here by the stove anyway. We make our own sauce and we try to keep it spicy enough. Sometimes we run out of certain things before the day ends if it's been a busy one. We don't use fancy napkins or expensive plates. It is just basic fast food for people who are hungry and in a hurry. The lane is always full of life and we like being part of that. We have been here for a while and the regulars know our names by now. It’s a simple life running a stall like this in Kaka Deo. We just keep the fire going and keep the momos ready for the next customer.
