Spicy Food Family Dhaba

We are located in Kanpur, right in the middle of the Cycle Market Lane in Parade. Our shops are numbers 72, 73, and 74, so we have a bit of room to work with. The area is quite crowded, as you would expect for Parade, with people constantly moving through the lanes looking for parts or running errands. It’s a traditional dhaba setup, which means things are simple and focused on the food rather than the decor. We get a lot of workers from the market and shoppers who need a break from the heat and noise outside. The benches are sturdy and the service is quick because people in Kanpur are usually in a hurry. We start our cooking early in the morning so everything is ready for the lunch crowd. The smells of spices and coal fire are part of the atmosphere here. It’s a bit gritty and real, just like the rest of the market. We don't have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by deliveries, and we have to help move things around just to get people into the shop. It’s a hands-on life, and we are right there in the thick of it every day. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same, serving whoever walks in.
