Marvel Steels

Marvel Steels is over at 80/84 Latouche Road, right across from the Jahaz Wali Building. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and full of noise from the trucks and people moving metal around. We spend most of our time dealing with steel parts and stacking things up in the shop. The building opposite us is a good landmark because people get lost on Latouche Road sometimes. It’s a busy street and there is always something happening outside the door. Our space isn’t very large but we make it work with what we have. There is a lot of heavy lifting and the floors are usually covered in some kind of metal dust. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk. It is just a place where work happens every day from morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes the traffic is so bad that the delivery trucks take forever to reach us. We just sit here and manage the inventory. It’s a bit rough around the edges but that’s the nature of the steel business I suppose. Most of the people who come by are regulars who know where we are. We keep the shop open and just focus on the daily tasks. It’s a practical way to earn a living and we like being right in the middle of the action near Jahaz Wali Building.
