Jeet Ispat

Halsey Road is a very crowded place, and Jeet Ispat is right in the middle of it at 46/147. If you come by, you will hear the sound of metal clanging and the noise of the traffic outside. We have been dealing in iron and steel products for a long time. It is heavy work and not very clean. Usually, our hands are black with soot or rust by the end of the day. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or soft chairs. It is just a practical space where we store the rods, sheets, and whatever else the builders and local guys need. Sometimes the trucks can't even get into the lane because Halsey Road is so narrow and packed. We have to manage the loading and unloading very carefully. My father and I sit here most days, keeping track of the accounts in old-fashioned registers. We don't use much software, just pen and paper mostly. People come to us because they know we have the stock and we don't play games with the prices. It’s a simple way of doing business that has worked for years. You might have to wait a bit if we are busy with another load, but that is just how it is here. 46/147 Halsey Road is where you will find us, right there amongst all the other hardware shops.
