Even though the name says Ahmedabad, this branch of Electrotherm I Ltd is based right here in Kanpur, in D Block of Govind Nagar. We are at 124/81, and it’s a typical Kanpur setting. The streets are narrow and always full of life, which keeps us on our toes. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time now, dealing with the industrial heating needs of the local area. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we are busy with the nuts and bolts of the business. We spend our hours talking to factory owners and looking at furnace specs. There’s no polished corporate vibe here; it’s more about getting grease on your hands or dust on your boots if you’re out inspecting a site. Govind Nagar is a busy place, and we fit right in with the other small businesses and shops. We usually have the radio on in the background while we work through the morning emails. Lunch is often something quick from a nearby stall. We don't believe in using big words to describe what we do. We just help people keep their machines running and their metal melting. It’s hard work, and the Kanpur weather can be tough, but we have a good group of people here who know their stuff. It’s a simple operation, run by people who actually understand the machinery we sell and service.
