Gyan Steels

Gyan Steels is located in the Nawabganj area. We are positioned near Naka Chauraha, which is basically where all the local traffic meets. It can be a real headache during the rush hour with all the rickshaws and bikes, but it means people always know where we are. The shop deals mostly in steel products. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The building is plain, and inside it is mostly just stacks of metal and the smell of industrial grease. It isn't the kind of place where you come to see fancy displays. It is more about the practical stuff. Most mornings, I sit near the entrance and watch the chaos at the chauraha while waiting for the first delivery truck. The walls have some stains from the rain over the years, and the floor is scratched up from moving heavy steel pipes and sheets around. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is where it should be. It is heavy work, honestly. My hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day. We don't really have a grand story to tell. It’s just a steel shop in a busy corner of Nawabganj, trying to get through the daily list of chores and orders without too much trouble. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day until it is time to close the gates.
