Calcutta Alloy Steel House

We have been running Calcutta Alloy Steel House at Plot No-137-138 in Shivaji Market for quite some time now. It’s right near the Nagar Nigam building, so most people find us pretty easily once they get into the market area. The shop is usually full of different steel pieces and it gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of stock coming in. We spend most of our days moving stuff around and talking to the people who drop by for their projects. It is a busy spot. Sometimes the noise from the market is a lot, but we are used to it by now. We deal with alloy steel mostly, and our shelves are always stacked with various sizes. We don't really do fancy office stuff here; it’s mostly just us working and keeping things organized. My brother and I handle most of the daily work, from checking the inventory to making sure everything is where it should be. It is honest work and we enjoy the routine of it. Most of our regulars know exactly where to find us in the back of Shivaji Market. We try to keep the place tidy but with all this metal, it is hard to keep the dust away. If you walk past the Nagar Nigam and head into the market, you will see our sign. We are usually here early in the morning getting things ready for the day ahead. We have piles of metal rods and sheets that we have to sort through every week.
