Bhujkrashak Producer Company Limited is based out of Mangalpur. We have a small spot at number 74 where we keep our papers and meet up. Since we are in Derapur, we see a lot of what goes on in the Kanpur Dehat area. Most of us grew up here and we know the land well. We started this because the farmers needed a group to stick together. It is not always easy to manage everything, especially when the prices change or the rain doesn't come. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors about their crops. It is simple work, really. We collect the produce and try to find the right places to sell it. Our office is just a regular building in the village, nothing special to look at. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized, but we always figure it out. We aren't some big company from the city. We are just local people working together. You can usually find someone at the Mangalpur address if you need to talk. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work that needs doing every day. It's about making sure the farming around here keeps going. We take it one day at a time and handle the problems as they come up. It's just how we live and work in this part of the country. We don't worry about being fancy, we just worry about the harvest.
