Maa Bharti Bio Energy Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Ram Vati’s house in Mirzapur Mazre. This is near Post Amauli in the Bindki Tehsil. It is a very local operation. We are a group of farmers who came together to form this producer company. The main goal is to deal with bio energy, which is something we are all still learning about in some ways. We do not have a fancy office, just a room at Ram Vati’s place where we keep the folders and the registration papers. Bindki is a busy area but we are a bit further out. We spend a lot of time talking to the other farmers in the Mazre about how they can contribute. It is not always easy to convince people to try something new like bio energy. We do a lot of the work ourselves, from the paperwork to the actual handling of the materials. The name Maa Bharti means a lot to everyone here, so we are proud to have it. It is a simple life and a simple business. We do not have any polished speeches. We just tell people what we are doing and hope they want to be part of it. Sometimes we have to travel to the main post office or the government offices to get things signed, which takes all day. That is just part of how things work around here.
