Munderi Lp School

Munderi Lp School is just there on the side of Valiyannur Nayattupara Road. It’s been in Munderi for quite a long time now. Most of the people around here know us because their kids or their neighbor’s kids come here every morning. It isn't a huge place with fancy buildings, just a simple school for the local children to learn their basics. You can see the kids running around the yard during the breaks, making a lot of noise, which is just how it is. We have a few classrooms that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. The teachers here are mostly from around Kannur, so everyone knows everyone. It’s nice in the mornings when the sun is coming up over the road and the students start trickling in with their bags. We don't have a lot of big events, just the usual stuff like the school anniversary or sports day where the parents come and sit on the plastic chairs. It’s a bit dusty when it’s dry and a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just Kerala for you. We try to keep things organized as much as we can. It’s just a normal place where we try to teach the kids how to read and write without too much fuss. People in Munderi seem happy enough with how things go here day to day.
