Heavens Pre School

Heavens Pre School is a small place located in Valapattanam, Kannur, with the pin code 670010. Since it’s a pre-school, everything here is built on a smaller scale to suit the little children who come through our doors. We have small chairs and low tables in all the rooms. There is a little yard out front with some swings and a slide that have seen a lot of use over the years. The walls are painted with some bright colors, though they’re a bit faded now from the Kerala sun. It’s a very noisy and lively place in the mornings when the kids are all here playing and learning their songs. We are right in the middle of Valapattanam, so it’s easy for local parents to drop their children off on their way to work. The building is just a single story, which makes it easier for the toddlers to move around without any stairs. We have a tiny kitchen where we prepare simple snacks and keep water for the kids. The teachers are all from around here and they have a very casual way of talking with the parents at the gate. We don’t have any big missions or fancy slogans; we just try to keep the kids safe and happy for a few hours every day. It’s a simple, honest setup that has become a part of the local neighborhood.
