Tagore Engineering College Vandalur

You can find us out in Rathnamangalam, which is part of the Vandalur area. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is actually quite nice for a college. We’ve been operating here for a good amount of time. The campus has its own rhythm. Every morning, you see students and staff making their way in. We have different departments for various engineering branches, all spread out across the site. It isn't a high-tech corporate office; it’s a school with dusty chalkboards sometimes and plenty of books. We spend our days in the labs or the lecture halls. The commute out to Vandalur is something everyone gets used to. There is a lot of green around the area compared to the city center. We don't try to be something we aren't. It is just a place where people come to study engineering and hopefully get their degrees at the end of it. We have some trees around where students sit during breaks. The buildings are functional. Staff members here mostly live nearby or travel from the city. It’s a community of people who are interested in technical stuff. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just manage and carry on. It feels like a regular, local institution. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us, we just work here and teach the students who show up every day.
