We operate out of No 3/4 on Padmavathi Street in Ramapuram. It’s a busy little area near Kesavardini in Thirumalai Nagar. We focus mostly on snacks, and our day usually begins well before the sun comes up. There’s a lot of frying and packing to be done so that everything is ready for the morning rush. The building isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit all our equipment in and still have room to move. It gets quite warm in here with the stoves going all day, especially in the Chennai heat. We are a small company, mostly just a handful of us making sure everything is made right and sent out on time. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of the people who buy from us are just locals or small shops nearby in the 600089 area. We spend a lot of time on our feet, and by the end of the shift, we’re usually pretty tired. There isn't anything fancy about what we do. It’s just making snacks that people like to munch on. We’ve had to deal with the usual stuff like late deliveries or power cuts, but we just keep going. It’s a steady job and we take it one day at a time. If you’re walking down Padmavathi Street, you can probably smell what we’re cooking. We’re just a regular local business trying to do things properly. We try to stay busy.
